Usage rate merely is indictive of the proportion of your team's possessions ends up with you attempting a field goal, turnover, fta etc.

It really isn't indictive of HOW you dominate the ball. Usage rate doesn't show how often Harden does his stationary iso dribble for 10-15 seconds taken out of the shot clock.where his teammates just stand around and watch.

Out of all the superstars in the league, Harden for the past couple of seasons at least has generated the most possessions where teammates just stand around and watch the said superstar dribble on one spot of the floor.

He still uses the ball a comparable amount and doesnt average as much assists as Harden. Giannis isnt a better passer than Harden, and if Harden has his teammates, hed pass even more.

Team LeBron looks stacked though. No way Team Giannis beats them.

That has more to do with how Harden sets up his own offense.

You don't lead the league in assist if you dont pass the ball.

I would say the top 20 NBA guards in the league would have Harden's assists numbers if they dominated the ball as much as Harden. They would also have Harden's turnover numbers as well.

Giannis isn't a better passer than Harden. That isn't what I'm claiming. Gainnis is claiming that Harden is a ball hog and if there is a current superstar that fits the bill of "ball hog" it's going to be Harden with how much he dominates the ball.

Giannis has pgs on his team that handle more of the playmaking duties. He's almost a full 7fter. His job is to be the most dominant paint scorer in the league. He doesn't need to hold the ball on one spot of the court for 20 seconds to accomplish that.

Yes that is how Harden sets up his own offense. By some dribbling for half the shot clock whole his teammates stand and watch. In what planet do you think a non biased observer of that isn't going to label that as being a ball hog.

Giannis didnt diss him. It was Barkley and Giannis just tagged along.

CB34 has enough issues. He wishes he had the all around game of JH13

Ball hogs were generally labeled to guys like melo who when they got the ball, they absolutely would not pass.

    Giannis said harden doesnt pass.

You dont lead the league in assist if you dont pass.

    It dont work like that.
