I get that everybody is down about the Capela+FRP for Covington, but it's actually a really good deal. Who knows what we could of gotten out of Capela this summer. Mike D would of very likely diminished his value because he saw that small ball was the most successful tool this season for wins due to Russ inability to hit the three ball. I'm not happy about losing the FRP, but in all seriousness I am actually happy about gaining another elite 3-D player. When we were winning a few years back, the line up of Trevor/Luc/Tuck was incredibly effective. If Russ wasn't traded for, we would be in a totally different position right now. But this is what Tilman and Harden wanted. I'm glad we adjusted our lineup to reflect that, even if that means we are going to get murdered on the boards from now on. I think the reward is going to be real good. Maybe I am being real optimistic, but personally glad to get Covington. He is a high end role player.
I hope you are wrong, I hope Bruno busts out. He had a hot streak last year for a few weeks. He played lights out in the World Cup. If we can replicate that maybe we can build up his confidence and turn him into a future cornerstone of our role players. Still only 24, has naturally ability, just needs to put it together. Why not here? Why can't he be Hassaan Whiteside in 2014-15 for us to end the season?

Ite was bad enough we had to see a 34 year old undersized SF battle night and night out with legit Powrt Fordwards, but now he's gonna have to battle with Centers now. Will he even make it to the end of the season?
Capela for RoCo is solid. It is fine. You can say it helps the team, which I agree it does, but it's still a rotation player for a rotation player, and mostly a lateral move. I get the benfits it brings and I'm happy about it, but that's the reality. You improved a part of your team while weakening a part of your team. The Clippers just got Marcus Morris basically for free. That's a real game changer. Rockets chose to cheapen out and not expand the trade. Maybe Morey pulls a rabbit out of his hat, but it's looking doubtful.
