I also don't believe any impactful C is coming in. We're all in on midget ball. Tucker, Cov, Harden, Gordon, WEstbrook is our murder lineup.Cov, Harden, Gordon, WEstbrook is our murder lineup. Chandler, Bell and Harterstein will play backup C by committee.
Not only is it because we’re all in. We have so little salary to match. Either a trade exception under 4 or combining House and Thabo and IH which is difficult enough but also only gets you to what...$7 mil?
Now he is saying is Drummond so who knows we will know until the trade deadline if he was trolling or until the trade goes thru. Mmmm Edit.. Nvm my bad
Oh ok my bad getting ready for work n saw drummonds pick well I posted the Tweet anyway. he also said if all fails Morey believes Kyle O’Quinn will be bought out I’ll be checking back on around lunch time hopefully we already have a center by then
Where in the world did the idea come from Turner is a center?!! He’s a wing...it’s not freaking Miles Turner.
I actually think O'Quinn would work well on this roster, underrated shot blocker, good but not great rebounder and moves his feet well on defense. I wouldn't complain with a center rotation of O'Quinn, Harty, Tuck and Chandler
Daryl Morey should have been building the team though the draft once he got Harden - there is a flaw in his thinking, Malcolm Brogdon is the perfect analytics player, and would probably be the best kind of player to put around Harden. He drafted two power forwards in front of DG, who you say "that powerhouse" that kept knocking him out of the playoffs. Remember, these are both second round picks - plenty of good players to be found in the draft each year - Morey should have been building a first class scouting and development program for the Rockets. Its the exception rather than the rule that some team is just going to gift you a James Harden in a trade transaction - Morey has a flawed methodology regarding team building strategy.
You like being a dick much? I already said my bad and other guys had pointed it out. Plus I posted the tweet
Agree. KOQ has generally been underrated throughout his career because he doesn't have many "exciting" Center attributes like athleticism, high-volume 3-point shooting or standout size. But he's a rock defensively, a strong defender/rebounder, and is overall a very high IQ player. He's shown some ability to step out and hit 3s this year (small sample size, but he's always been very good from 16-23 feet, so it looks legit). Meanwhile Christian Wood (who I always liked coming out of college), puts up very impressive per36 production, but he kind of reminds me of Hartenstein in that he's a high-activity big who's a little too "all over the place." So it's hard to play him big minutes against good teams, because you know there will be lapses on both ends.
not exactly. but posting fake news gets pretty tiresome. there's already enough trolls around here that pollute the board
