I think the qualification is being a good, loyal friend of Trump.

 

I hope Rush dies a PAINFUL DEATH. I hope he COUGHS up his lungs.....in globs of blood and tissue.

He has been TOXIC to this country.

 

What would Limbaugh have to say if roles were reversed and Rush was healthy and some hypothetical liberal Rush Limbaugh equivalent discovered they had stage 4 lung cancer?

it’s only a partisan weapon now, completely divorced from any remaining American ideals. So damned Orwellian.

While the selection of Limbaugh is at a minimum odd....... he is very and purposefully divisive and has had issues with sex tourism and drug addition (although many people have)..... I wanted to know if MAYBE it isn't such an odd choice. Perhaps some other very controversial and divisive people have been presented the award.

The first thing that stands out if you look at the list, is just how many people have been given the award, and also how diverse the group is.

Also, certain President's seem to like to give the honor more than others.

As for controversial figures....... well Bill Cosby received the award, but that was under GW Bush years ago before most people were aware that Cosby was a monster.

There are some controversial politicians that have received the award. Dick Cheney being the most controversial and Cesar Chavez.

As for journalism both William Safire and William F Buckley have received the award.

Barrack O'Bama named Ellen DeGeneres which is odd.

From my review, I don't know of anyone that is as controversial as Limbaugh but it isn't quite as far fetched as it seems.

Dam that is harsh I don't like the dude and can agree he has been toxic to the country but to wish a painful death upon him is not Christ like.

 

The problem he has basically said similar things over his radio career. He is a horrible human being. It doesn’t matter he has given to cancer charities. How he earned that money is the problem.

 

To wish for the death of another human being who isn't a direct threat to the well being of others is walking into a dangerous place. It puts you into the same if not worse camp than the people you despise.

 

I not wishing for his death. Since he is dying anyway, I just wanted to be an unpleasant experience.
