It seems that the Rockets will probably be looking for affordable bigs now that the Rockets have freed up 2 roster spots and gotten rid of Nene and Capela. As a big man the Rockets have already took interest in I would like to see him at least get a shot on the team. I think he and Jordan Bell would work well with Hartenstein and Tucker as a big man rotation. Anthony Bennett seems to me to be a low risk high reward type of guy the Rockets could get for the minimum. I think AB got a raw deal mostly due to the issue with Nene's contract, and should be given another look. He had arthroscopic surgery on his knee, so the injury wasn't severe, as a matter of fact Eric Gordon had same thing later and has dropped a 50pt game since his.
I was thinking about this the other day. It’s curious that Anthony Bennett hasn’t signed with any other team. Haven’t heard any updates about his health.
Why is that curious? Teams aren’t lining up to sign scrubs like that. He hasn’t played an NBA game since January 5, 2017. He wasn’t even in the league the past 2 years.
I’m not talking about the NBA. He isn’t signed in the G-League, Europe... anywhere. I thought it was a routine cleanup procedure? Maybe there was more to it than that.
come on now what about mac. people wasnt lining up to sign him either. and look how important he is to us. So for u to say that is strange. i been thinking anout him i thought him n mac would work for us. i still wanna sign him if he healthy
just because Ben McLemore worked out doesn’t mean we should be signing all these scrub players, especially one coming off injury who hasn’t even played in an NBA game for 2 years, hoping they don’t end up actually being sh*t
Iguodala is a champion...he’s a proven, useful player don’t disrespect him by bringing him up in an Anthony Bennet post
Anthony Bennett as a a Stretch Center can be a huge boost in this offense. He is built like Draymond Green. Unfortunately, his health in lack of sleeping, surgery done to fix this problem. I really believe in his talent to flourish with Mike DAntoni. His injury was bad timing and unfortunate. Ben Mclemore saved his career, so did Danuel House. Anthony Bennett Compact 3 point shot is improved, he can switch on defense, block shots and rebound.
It's strange how, not only has no team signed him, but there's literally been 0 news about Bennett in any basketball league in the world, anywhere. Not even local YMCA pick-up leagues want this dude.
Been thinking this sense forever - guy is a +40% 3pt shooter, and is over 6'8" tall - we NEED that. DD
