I was once branded a "tilman defender" because I thought people were too quick to bash without enough facts. At this point, after tripling-down on the Westbrook trade, this seems totally asinine.

As one poster here awhile mentioned, why couldn't one of the Duncan heirs like pro basketball? Each one of them could buy the Rockets outright. I'm sure there are other energy guys stinking rich here besides them.

I expected a certain amount of bull$hit from a hospitality guy, but I didn't expect him to be as cheap or cheaper than Les. Just disappointing.

The thing is, it really wouldn't cost THAT much more to field a legit championship team. Nothing like OKC or GS's tax bills of yore. Just a little primp here, and a tuck there: an extra 20-25 million a year, tops.
