Watching the Lakers game and can’t help but think about how Dwight couldn’t play the way he is now when he was here in Houston. It really took 5 years of the world and the league beating him down and force feeding him humility for him to finally just embrace who he is as a player....smh
He was almost out of the league before he finally relented. I blame Barkley and Shaq for his mentally though. He was teased and bullied into thinking he was a back to the basket center. Dwight DESPERATELY needs the validation from the basketball fraternity. He could have been an even greater center if he just would have played to his strengths.
When did they begin to let play go on, and then after the offensive team has done something with the possesion, they then call the technical for something that could have potentially happened 24 seconds ago? Saw it on replay just now in the Lakers game, and saw it a couple of days ago too. Seems pathetic and stupid. It is the NBA. So seems right on cue.
sigh...the ESPN announcers during POR/LAL game just said Lillaird is only the 6th player to score 60 in multiple games, and they named all the others, except Harden, who has 4 of them (3rd most ever).
