What is the purpose of roster spots for Chandler, HArty, Clemons, Frazier, and Thabo when they barely ever get on the court unless its garbage time ??? WTF is Morey doing at this point ??? MDA is honestly the worst man just an awful trash coach without Harden or CP3 bailing his worthless ass out ...

 

Harden's Win Shares per 48 minutes drops from .241 to .161 in the playoffs. His winshares/48 was higher with OKC in the playoffs.

 

I've been saying that since the beginning of the season. I remember people on here thought I was nuts until Hartenstein actually started showing out. Hartenstein had been ready for minutes all year. He could've even played some more last year.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with Dantoni.

 

Harden should have got coach of the year that year. He bailed his ass out.

 

Not really when you account for different eras. Harden's efg% even though is around the same as Kobe and Wade is below league average today in the playoffs and that's because the massive difference in the average shot selection between these different eras.

Also Kobe and Wade were far superior defenders in the playoffs.

 

Team is tired and injured.

Get rid of gary clark and play an injured capela, with hartenstein getting 0 minutes.

Lol bro do you think Win Shares are like the only advanced metric out there? I will take what leading analytical mind says about Harden over you for the most part. There is also the fact that we have 2 WCF, a 65 win team, and taking the GOAT team to the edge.

 

He didn't give any minutes to the young players/end of the bench when we started the seasopn and played against trash like Washington, Cleveland, NOLA...now that we/he's playing for a seed eh, good luck with that lol.

Harden was bad in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 in the playoffs, that was a long time ago.

Can you post league average efg% for those respective eras for those players please so we have a proper frame of reference?

 

Think about the playoffs last season, remember when Capela had the virus and had his eyes popping off and all red in that game in Utah? He played absolutely horrible, literally couldn't run and jump, he was like a dead corpse out there, and he still played 30/35 minutes (i don't remember exactly now but i'm pretty sure he was in most of the game, last minutes included), Mike would literally play his starters even without an arm before he plays a Hartenstein tier of player 10 lol

"Leading analytical minds" is subjective. The dude who created wins shares for the NBA is also well known.

Who leads in win shares has almost always won the MVP. It's a pretty indictive stat for the best performers.

 

Kobe has had double amounts of FG attempts than Harden does... and he only has 12k more points. If Harden were to have the same amount attempts as Kobe, he would have around 40k points.

Despite what you may think, Harden is pretty efficient.

 

Same song, same verse. Could get better but it's going to get worst. Utah will win tomorrows game.

 

Rockets really need those wins they choked away this season. They really need them.

Harden is an efficient scorer in the regular season. In the playoffs he has below average efg% relative to the league.

Kobe played in a entirely different era where it was unfathomable that a player can take 10 3pt attempts a game. There was such a thing as a 'bad three point shot' during Kobe's era. Also during Kobe's era, league average free throw rate was lower.

Harden and Kobe have similar efg% in the playoffs when Kobe played in an era with a far lower league average efg%.

Kobe also played elite defense for majority of his time in the playoffs especially in the years he won his rings.

 

I won't criticize them today of all days, although the next game is barely winnable.
