Oh I agree but people can’t help themselves. Perfect opportunity to bring it up and get the attention for it
When I lost my son, there was a book that helped me to survive those first few months. A guy named Jerry Sittser wrote a book (Grace Disguised) detailing his journey after losing his mother, wife, and his 4 year old daughter in a car accident. One of the hardest things about grief is surviving the trauma of sudden loss. There’s just so much to process and picking up the pieces is so hard. My heart goes out to his family who is left behind.
You think I give a damn what you think about my posting? There are idiots claiming they would hit a woman poster for pointing out that Kobe Bryant anally raped a girl so brutally that she bled all over his shirt. You want to mourn him as a player or personality go right ahead. When someone calls someone a “good man” or “good family man” having someone else pointing out that he was not a good family man is completely fair. He was who he was good and bad.
I dont know who's lying more, but studies show females are far better at deception, not just in humans. Can we drop this off-topic stuff already though.
It is extremely offensive to hear shut up about rape. Really? It shows exacty how rape is treated right now in society. A minor inconvenience. Don't bring this up, forget it , you are alive so move on. Rape can be the end of life for many women emotionally and even lead to suicide, but we should shut up about it? No. Kobe commited a crime and this is as much a part of him as it is his love for family and children and what he did on the court.
Yep, agreed, we all know about it. Let’s pay respects. Those posters can Head to the D&D if you want start that conversation up then by all means have at it but not here
You are not incorrect, I won't judge. He certainly made mistakes, very human. I dun want to get into those details, have to read her bio then.
By all accounts, those that know him say he was a good family man. Do you know otherwise? Or does his mistake automatically mean he's not one? I didn't realize those two things were related. I'll step back and not respond. You have the floor. Again. I just think it's wrong for your first thought to be the rape thing. I generally like and appreciate your contributions to this place, but you're way out of bounds here.
I am not a Kobe fan but I’m a fan of his dedication. This is truly a sad day for all basketball fans. My heart and prayers go to his family. I grew up watching Kobe, and my last game watched him live was during our 22 games winning streak. R.I.P Mamba
Pretend for a moment. His surviving daughters are reading this thread for information. And hopefully you'll understand.
I was shocked when I heard the news and although I didn't like him, I wouldn't wish this on the worst enemy. Having said that: a lot of people can so sucessfully forget about the bad deeds someone did because they are a famous person. If Harvey Weinsten died today, would you be sorry? How about Bill Cosby? No you wouldn't, because they don't play basketball. But Kobe did, and he is without sin? He was a great player and a great man, but he owes his actions. You can't separate his sins from the man he was. May he rest in peace.
Apparently that helicopter type was sold over 1,000 times. Only the 4th crash. But never any survivors in these crashes, of course.
