Russias only goal is to sow discord. Period. The real problem is when politicians, or anyone for that matter, give credence to the idea a politician/party is selling out America to Russia. Yes, Russia is trying to create chaos. Yes, we absolutely should shore up our defenses. These defenses include strengthening our cyber/electronic information. If you have a private server in the bathroom, own up to it. If your email gets compromised, find better security. What we shouldn't be doing is throwing our fellow politicians under the bus. This is exactly what Hillary was doing. Yes, Trump used it to his advantage and he should not have...which is one of the many reasons why he shouldn't be president. But to imply a party and their voter base are acting as Russian activist is a horrible way to go. Stating a politician is indirectly acting as an agent or Russias best interest for simply choosing to run as third party is just down right stupid. Yes, other countries will start misdirection campaigns to encourage candidates to run for office that will disrupt an election, but we should not be using our citizens as a pawn in this game. What we need to do is better educate our citizens on what other countries are trying to do.
I mostly agree except where politicians knowingly spread Russian propaganda as has happened with some Republicans during the House impeachment proceedings. Those politicians should be called for doing that and it should be known to the public. We know that the idea that Ukraine was behind election interference in 2016 is known to be false and Russian propaganda. Yet, the President and other Republicans have tried to spread that even after it was confirmed to be false and Russian propaganda. It is both wise and just that the fact they did that is publicized.
Tulsi has thrown the whole party under the bus as well as fellow politicians. Why do you have an issue with Hillary but not Tulsi. Hillary is not alone in this thinking, so now you are calling a lot of other democrats stupid.
Part of better educating the public is making sure they understand what happened in 2016, and most people aren’t even aware of how Russia weaponized the Stein campaign to tip the election in swing states. It could happen again, so raising the alarm of the possibility is fair game. Russia wants to sow discord and humiliate us on a global level, and they were very successful in 2016. Let’s hope we’re smarter this time around.
Im not sure what you're referring to. I have no problem with politicians throwing each other under the bus. I have a problem when politicians play into the game our foreign adversaries want us to. And that is to insensate other politicians are unwittingly foreign agents. That goes w/out saying. And its not limited to Democrats.
Oh how cute. You honestly think Bill Barr allowed Epstein to be killed to protect .... Bill Clinton??.... hahaha.
Wasn't talking about that, but obviously it's the first thing you thought about. Perhaps there is a reason for that.
That 1st pic alone should discount him from being president. Where are all the people who keep talking about Creepy Joe. If that **** is not creepy.
Gabbard getting actively screwed by CNN while the DNC changes the rules to let Bloomberg participate in the next debate is pretty progressive. https://jonathanturley.org/2020/02/...ts-as-cnn-analyst-calls-her-a-russian-puppet/
Something doesn’t add up with this Gabbard/CNN story. Has CNN issued a response or explanation? Even Deval Patrick was invited over Tulsi? Very odd. Gabbard’s auditioning for a spot in Trump’s cabinet, oops - I mean “presidential campaign”, is like the turd that won’t flush, but I totally agree that this is unfair and indefensible. It’s possible her campaign is lying about not receiving an invite or explanation to generate attention (similar to the Hillary lawsuit), but if this snub is legit then CNN has some explaining to do.
Tulsi needs to declare independent and continue to deliver her message. It's clear the DNC hates her guts.
