So we have BoB who is a bad coach and a bad GM making decisions, and then Jack Easterby, who by my count has no pro NFL experience outside of "team building" whatever that means. Where are the people that know Xs and Os?

    This franchise is f***ed

    Olsen was a senior VP.

And you don’t think O’Brien could have McNair fire him?

John McClain’s reporting was very clear that O’Brien fired Olsen.

“One of the first major changes made by O’Brien and Easterby was to fire Olsen, who earned a reputation around the NFL as one of the league’s best contract negotiators and salary cap experts during his 13 years with the Texans.”

Deshaun - no extension just yet (playoff resume is awful, 2019 was a regression year), unless the contract is heavily front-loaded and incentive-laden
Tunsil - kick the tires on extension talk
Fuller - no extension, draft a potential speedster replacement and see how 2020 plays out
Reader - let him walk, not impactful enough as a pass rusher
    Roby - let him walk
    JJ - restructure contract

Huh....are u on crack? Watson was just fine in this years' playoffs. Look at his numbers. Watson will get $175 million....$130m guaranteed (or something like that).

    Just fine?? FOH

He was only good in the fourth quarter against the Bills and in the first quarter versus the Chiefs

The Texans will regret giving him that kind of a contract if O’B is the still the coach long-term. We all ****ing know it.

You could make the argument that Watson regressed this year based on bad performances against Carolina (home), Jacksonville (home), Denver (home), Tampa (road), and Baltimore (road).

But you’re blinded by your irrational love for O’B to see that. Idiot.

LOL. I wanted O’brien fired after the Bills’ game.

Watson has nothing to do with BOB.

Texans will not giving Watson anything.

You are an idiot. Bye now...

Hell this team have Matt slob a longer stint and wasn’t nearly as good as Watson so yea no they definitely paying him on the O’Brien thing he prolly last one more season if they don’t get to an AFC TITLE GAME I think they move on even though they should now

Has been through Carr Matt schaub Fitzpatrick .... hoyer Yates Keenum osweiler and now they saying Watson who is only 3.5 years into his career isn’t good enough even though he has played behind a terrible O-line most his career and playcalling ....

Not what you said....you wanted to have him fired at halftime because you said you were acting with emotion. This is what you said after the game...

Not sure how he's allowed to just fire anyone he wants like this.

    What a psycho

Didn’t say they should dump Deshaun. I’m saying that they’ll regret giving him that extension early if they don’t get rid of O’B.

You can’t possibly think Watson is gonna improve with O’B can you?

So the coach has nothing to do with a QB’s development, you imbecile?

Don’t act like this year hasn’t been a step back for #4. It has.

I’ll say it again: this coach-QB combo will not work long-term. O’B has to go now.

Texans looking at Robert Quinn? That would be a nice signing.

    Umm...

BOB: “Yeah Olson needs to go. We can do better, he is partially responsible for this mess.”

Cal: “Okay Bill, if you think we can do better.”

    BOB: “Yup. Done.”
