"We got so many backup centers to Capela... we got Thabo, House, even Harden can play center because he's a great post defender!"

I remember when Morey pulled talent like those guys out of his hat. Now it seems like players get better once they leave our organization.

And if we really need to go to the bench for a center we got Clemons.

D'Antoni knows he isn't going to be the coach next season and his staff was replaced by upper management so he doesn't feel the need to develop young talent.

Really hope Hartenstein gets a chance somewhere else. All he's done is produce in the limited minutes he's given, and MDA refuses to give him a shot. In fact, he lies about "locking up the backup center role", and glues him to the bench.

Actually, with the way Dantoni has burned multiple bridges with different teams its entirely possible he's purposely putting in the minimum effort.

He knows Tilman ain't paying him so he won't be here next year. If you knew you were going to be replaced in your job, why bother trying? Just keep up appearances and take the cheque every day.

Dantoni is basically fine with getting fired right now since we have no leverage against him. This is probably his last coaching stop anyways, he's getting up there in age.

He's proven time and time again he absolutely doesn't care if the fans hate him when he leaves a team.

I think he gets one more stop
    but
Before the Rockets hired him . . .many thought the Knicks were his last stop
The Rockets earned him one more stop

Really wanted to see hartenstein, house, and Westbrook run the second unit.

Eventually, it needs to get developed the way okc used Westbrook, nerlens noel, and Steven Adams.

Okc gave rockets a tough time late last season in April in Toyota wcenter their line-ups across the board

It's a real shame the way the team managed him this season. Several times Harty looked like he was going to break out into a potential starter, only to be benched for the next 5 games. I understand if he doesn't have a place on our new small ball philosophy, but don't keep him as a cheerleader. Had he been traded at the right time, he could have got us a first rounder. FRPs keep salary low for 4 years so it's a win win for everyone.

We most likely will trade him at some point next season, but the league knows he's not a fit for us and will low ball us. He should play every minute WB is on the bench, James needs a lob threat.

That is almost like a punishment because the team logo shaved in his head refuses to give him any playIng time that he has earned over the years.
