the rockets have been one of the most consistently good franchises in all sports for decades and well respected

The texans have always been considered a laughing stock nationally.

the 2 franchises are not comparable.

Laughing stock, where? They have only been around since 2002. Just because you have not won a super bowl....doesn’t make u a laughing stock. Texans have been one better franchises in the last 10 years...in terms of wins. You need to look at browns and bengals for comparison.

    In terms of win,
    since 2009-2019: 91-85 barely over .500

Factor in that we r the only team in the AFC South that have yet to reach AFC Championship

but sure we have dem AFC South Titles, we are a Juggernaut for sure

    oh bengals from 2009-2019 is 87-87-2 @ .500
    Division title: 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Including the difference in caliber of division makes the comparison even more weak.

The North has two perineal powers, both of whom have reached the Superbowl in the past decade.

BoB defenders have again and again reject the notion that our division is a shtty one, didn't think extra tidbit would have convince them otherwise, but ya i agree,

He should have been fired 3-4 yrs ago there is no way he should have been allowed to gain all this power within this franchise and for what he has never done anything to warrant being the HC/GM/OC.

It tells a lot about him that he fired Godsey because he wasn't getting the job done and 4yrs later the offense still sucks.

I say it all the time with the weapons this team has we should never look as inept as we do on offense.

Now we are looking at going 3 out of 4 years with no first round pick and a defense that needs help yesterday.

I am really afraid to how bad this draft might be with BOB and the preacher running the show.

So this is what it looks like when better coached teams are prepared to go for it on fourth down.

Titans are a far better coached team than the Texans.

They don't commit the presnap penalties. They have a clear game plan. They get other teams to commit the presnap penalties. They play great situational football.

All of these things are true of a good team. None of them are true of the Texans.

Vrabel getting his team to the conference championship in his second year is what good coaches do. O'Brien not getting his team there in 6+ years is not a sign of someone that will eventually get there.

Wish we'd have given Vrabel the job instead of letting him leave.

And not only the titans if you look at all the teams in the conference championship they all execute they all play disciplined and they all have a clear identity something the Texans don’t have.

So Chris Olsen is gone. That means O'Brien has more power.

Doesn't Olsen handle the cap? Scary considering we're about to dish out a ton of money. This must mean Caserio is coming, or this team is really about to implode.

    Caserio coming hopefully.

And yes Olsen was the guy who handled the cap for 10+ years.

They need it. Texans are just plain incompetent with tons of talent.

Or they are hiring someone else.....other than Caserio to handle the cap. They can't hire Caserio til after the draft and free agency. They are probably bring some one else in.

They have Free Agency and the Draft BEFORE Caserio is available. They can bring in someone who specializes in cap management without hiring a GM.
