It is interesting, all the fame and adoration is going to flip on them like it did to Lance Armstrong. There will be no escape. It’s an interesting life story when we get to the end it it.

Think they will be thrown at more than once. This fell on party lines and the pitchers are pissed. But they have it coming. Duck boys. Duck.

The interesting thing will be to see how good they are without the tech in high leverage situations against elite pitching. We just owned everyone the last three seasons. The walk to k ratio will be telling, but on the bright side we should break Biggios Hit by pitch records.

Walk to K ratio was amazing last year, and they did not use tech.

I think some fans are probably going to die and/or get hurt from carryover from what happens in the stands into the parking lot. This is just the crazy world we live in.

I think the Astros will struggle this year - especially without Cole - and when they fail to win 100 games, everyone one will say - see - they were never that good without the cheating. If they somehow do win 100 games, people will say - they are still cheating!!

Basically it's going to take a long time for their reputation to recover

Astros fans probably won’t be showing off their Astros gear when visiting opposing ball parks. Especially that 2017 championship t-shirt or cap.

How will opposing pitchers fair at MMP? As soon as they give up hits, will they now be paranoid about something going on?

Even though the transgressions happened 3 years ago, and they played almost 2 full seasons (and playoffs) without stealing, now that the media has in ingrained in everybody's conscious, they may not be able to suppress the doubt.

100 percent they stole signs in 2019. There was literally no reason to stop cheating. Never seen a cheater just up and stop, and the stats were historic because of it. Every player set their personal records and we were 25% better than the competition. That just doesn’t happen. It was just so obvious no sane person could possibly turn a blind eye to it.

Most teams became aware of it in 2018 and started working on changing their signs so it was likely less effective.

Yeah, the investigation and pretty much every witness says otherwise, but let's rather believe this. I think I saw a suspicious wrinkle on Springer's left butt cheek.

Lol y’all actually think the league will allow pitchers to deliberately bean hitters?

Then why did they have any explicit stop date in the report?

Obviously, the penalties were going to be harsh no matter what timeframe they were looking at... why not say it happened beyond 2018 if it was happening beyond 2018?

As far as why they were that much better.... they already had a pretty historic 1-4... and then they add an all-world/MVP caliber rookie in Alvarez (who posted extreme numbers from day one). So, unless you think Alvarez was cheating as well in the minors, his amazing debut was pretty much consistent with what he was doing all season.

What kind of report implicates a player driven scheme and doesn’t name one player. That’s not a report let alone an investigation. It’s a joke. They haven’t even talked to the other teams. They don’t know the truth, because they didn’t want to know it. The Astros cheated through 2019 and everyone in the clubhouse knows it. The historic 1-4 have been cheating all this time. Nothing was legit.

What witnesses? We don’t even have testimony. Literally all we know is what Fiers already told us. The so called investigation and report are a joke.

What evidence do you have? Why are they better on the road?

The evidence is they did cheat. We admitted it. The evidence backing it up is in the numbers and our domination. It’s impossible to ignore all of it. We’ve been watching the Astros for a half decade and the only time in our entire history we put up historic numbers like this we were cheating in 17 and 18. We go next level in 19. Numbers never seen before in the history of baseball. It’s so simple. Home and road. So obvious. It was an orgy of evidence on the field. Cheaters just don’t stop suddenly without a deterrent. They never had one.

Considering the use of the tech ended in early 2018... and we still kept winning...

Considering Marisnick got beaned for something really petty.

So, they cheated on the road? How? They cheated on the mound? How?

At least you’re trying to be consistent... with absolute bullshit.

    I smell a Yankee fan....

The Astros are still pretty big favorites to win their division. They are bringing back their entire offense minus Chirinos. Verlander and Greinke are the top 2 starters in the division based off 2019 performances.

What makes 100 games matter? If they win 99 and win the World Series then what? They suck and are cheating?

MLB is going to have a microscope up the Astros butt this season. Crane even mentioned compliance officers being in the dugout/tunnel. If they win it will take a lot of the stink off 2017 and really piss Yankee fans off which is a huge plus.

Ah, circular logic. Cool; it all makes sense now.
