Which Foreign Series are you watching?

I guess anime counts but was more interested in live action shows

    Money Heist is good
    Mortel was a'ight
    Top Boy was good
    Shadow was decent

I enjoyed Babylon Berlin but I'm a bit of a history nerd (it's historical fiction) set in Weimar Germany.

"Babylon Berlin is a German neo-noir television series."

Apparently it is the most expensive German television show ever made.

Made after a book of the same name.

We watched Glitch (Australia) on Netflix. It was entertaining, and relatively short. 3 seasons, 6 episodes per season. It follows 6 people who come back from the dead and the consequences that follow.

Criminal is interesting if you like the law portion in Law and Order.

Dark (Germany) is a great sci-fi/drama.
Bodyguard (UK) is also very good for action/drama.

Currently watching a British show called Traitors about the US converting Brits into spies to out Soviet spies in the British government.

Others that might pique your interest.

We are the Wave, German show
    The Rain, Scandanavian?
    Designated Survivor, Korean version
    Medici, Italian
Le serment des Hitler, doc about Hitler's descendants
    Les Revenants, French
    Kingdom, Korean
    Trotsky, Russian
Occupied, Norwegian. This one is sort of an alternate reality movie where Russia occupies Norway. Interesting.

    Fauda
    Mossad 101
    Dark
    Money Heist
    Kingdom (Korean, not Chinese)

Loir Raz (Creator and Lead Actor) of Fauda is a real retired Israeli commando turned actor...and he's a badass. Father was a Navy-SEAL equivalent of Israel, too. Two fabulous actresses in the show, as well.

Mossad 101 is a unique portrayal of the training school of Mossad. Each week one cadet is asked to leave the school, in a Survivor fashion, for failing that test/exercise -- whittling down to a final set of graduates. Great mix of male/female roles. Although two seasons, Season 1 is self-contained. You can entirely enjoy that without moving on to post-graduation Season 2. Good bet the S.O. will like this too.

    Dark -- as mentioned already

Money Heist -- very fun bank heist. although I did think it dragged on a wee bit

Kingdom -- just try it. You'll know after the 2nd episode if you want to continue.

Haven’t watched Dark yet. Bodyguard was excellent. So we’re including British stuff? The Fall is terrific. Endeavour is very good. Broadchurch and Shetland are other good mysteries. There are others I might mention later. I’m too depressed by tonight’s game right now. :-(

Dark is terrific but you have to pay real close attention. Tough to follow but worth the effort.

Are you thinking of the one that is kind of like an Aussie Red Dawn?

I've been trying to remember the name of that one.

Loved this one. It really helps to use one of the online family trees to keep the characters straight. Though not one fully updated for season 2.

Kingdom, Korean epic that's a mix between a period piece and Game of Thrones.
Naked Director, Japanese. This one is based on the true story of a visionary Japanese pron director. It's very good, but as you can expect, very graphic.

I thought it was an Ancient version of Train to Busan. I find it odd that they kept the dead emperor like that.
