I am convince that if PJ misses a game we will play with 4 players

    I am with you
It is like he is intentionally sabotaging the team

I know....sigh I know. We have no breathing room. Our guys are already gassed, and Mike is refusing to play our younger guys. These short rotations are killing us. And we need better defense, we really do.

On the plus side....Rivers was able to stay in front of his man tonight, which is something I havent seen anyone(aside from PJ) on the team do in a long time.

well playing hart would’ve helped tonight against the longer athletic Memphis. Nights like tonight are what frustrates rockets fans.

Brainless coach refuses to give athletic and promising player an opportunity.

I’m tired man. I really am. This dude is exhausting.

maybe we shouldn't have killed his legs so early in the season .

PJ has drastically increased his PT this season and last year. Before that he was like a high 20's low 30 mpg player. We are having this increase right at age 33-35 ... it scares the **** out of me.

Alas no surprise, he is deemed a one man elite Defense, others are just not on his level.

Playing other role players at home is not an issue, you need PJ fresh for the road games.

The road record is not that good.

I've never been on the MDA needs to go bandwagon, but I'm pretty close. We can't keep forcing this many minutes out of our core players in f**king January.

An interim coach would do more harm than good, or just continue conservative ways.

We got to wait till the off season. This is the Way.

Harden Stein actually looks a tad like Dirk without the mane but isn't in the same ball park, different player.

Hartenstein leads the team in net rating. Small sample, but he clearly deserves to play more. But D'Antoni is gonna D'Antoni

Why not? Don’t we just need to shorten the rotation and shoot more 3’s and let Harden save us? What’s wrong with that game plan?

same. however i hold the actual owner more accountable than MDA with his lack of effort to surround harden with actual depth by cheaping out every single roster move since hes been here. hoping to get gold out of every single min contract he signs or prorated contract. signing guys that are unplayable or aren't even actually playing taking up roster space.

Seems a simple formula: Ike (ok, Hart) starts off strong, plays. Ike starts off tepid, sits and cheers.

I support MDA; do NOT support his tighttighttight’rotations’ (nor the franchisee’s roster limiting).

Serious question: presuming MDA does not return (and I am rooting for the success requisite for a return!), does MDA coach again?

This game was tough to watch. You have a young team with height owning you in the paint and a coach that decides to go small ball in the 4th quarter and running his vets into the turf before a back to back. How Hartenstein was held to 4 minutes while our starting center got into foul trouble is beyond me. My expectations have been lowered especially knowing its going to be 6 against 5 going forward again.
