The root of all of this goes back to Les Alexander refusing to let Morey rebuild. The Rockets had to essentially rebuild without high draft picks and while still remaining competitive. Not having those draft picks still haunts us.

I still am not over the fact that the Rockets have had the best player in the NBA over the last 6 seasons and will not win a title with him. Ownership won’t even maximize the chance to win in their window.

Then Tillman destroys the Rockets chances to jump into a rebuild in the next 3-4 years. He forces a trade for Westbrook where we lose multiple #1 picks, we give up multiple draft pick swaps and we take on a longer contract. Couple that with Tillman saying he can’t ever see rebuilding through the draft.

Basically we are in the same spot the Knicks were 7-8 years ago, except we have Harden... and it is because of the last two owners we have had.

Some of the younger guys probably could (Ben, House, definitely iHart).

Now I'll say something that will sound crazy. None of these players will ever improve as long as D'Antoni is the head coach.

It's horrific how much our roster deteriorated from 17-18

    Capela - younger Nene
    Tucker - Ryno
    Ariza - Luc
Harden - younger Gordon - Green
    Younger CP3

    To

Capela - IHart ( benched for no reason)
    Tucker's Corpse
    House - McLemore
    Harden - injured Gordon
    Westbrook - Rivers

    PJ - 38 minutes 0-1 field goals and 0-0 from 3
    Does he even shoot???

    Seriously . . . . I now see why we don't have 4-4 or 4-3 then harden is doubled

Yeah, I don't even see us going on an 8 win streak again this season. Our team has no depth or quality besides Harden or Westbrook. Capela has been good for most part. But he's only a center, so we can't expect him to get that many points. Gordon is decent, but I have no doubt he'll get injured again this season.... besides, he's hit or miss with his shots in half his games.

When you have a look at the other top teams in the conference, they all have depth and a bit of quality coming off the bench. We literally don't. People are finally seeing how much Harden carries us. If he has an off shooting night, nobody is there to help. Westbrook has helped a bit, but we can't rely on him getting 30 plus points in that many games.

That wasn’t the point, I was responding to the “ lie about his teammates missing shots. So that’s why James didn’t pass the ball.” Capela, Ben and EG **** pretty well. No one else really got the ball. We took 86 shots total. Guess who almost took half of those?

They haven’t overall been better than James Harden the last 5-6 years.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out? Our role players are better than there’s and they lacking shooting. So how have they manage to beat bad teams while we either win/ lose close games to teams below .500? Lol

How do you work that out? They just beat OKC without AD and Lebron. Yeah, their 3pt shooting isn't great, but their depth is much better than ours.

Do you honestly see the Rockets winning a game without Harden and Westbrook? No.

Their role players are better... they may not score a lot of points, but they are very good defenders. Having guys that are smart and talented defenders will go a long way to winning games even when shots are not falling. The Rockets had guys like Ariza and Moute and Hilario that could defend.

No it isn’t. Laker fans hate kcp/ rondo. Bradley can’t shoot and is often injuried and Danny Green is inconsistent as Ben Mac.
