@YOLO I told you MDA wasn't going to play Hartenstein as long as Clint is healthy. He was playing well against Jonas and he still got benched for recently cremated Tyson.

It's not even true. It's much worse than that!! He got benched so we could roll with Tucker at C and a midget ball lineup, give up a lead in the first half. And then Harden can't get anything going in the 4th because there is no lob threat in the paint with the midget ball lineup. If he drives then the C can just step up defensively. So all they have to do to guard him is not foul him on the step back and hope he misses (he did)
Hartenstein is not our backup C PJ tucker is. our backup C when we are down or the game is close Harenstein is our C when Clint is OUT and/or the game has already been decided. MDA yanked him because we didn't make 3's for a few minute stretch. "No , Isiah we are putting PJ in because we are missing 3's... so with PJ in we will be able to take more and can then make 3's. "
MDA continues to rest players leaving them out of the games (as if this team led the conference for 10 games) and then use 7 or 8 player rotations! Someone has to stop this. NOW!
i already knew that. he'll throw him out there against some scrub bigs especially if clint's out. if there's any other more known big on the floor, his minutes will be in single digits to none
You aren’t the only one! It’s inexplicable. I can think of no reason short of injury, and he looks healthy to me, not to play him a lot of minutes tonight, yet he gets 4. Four! When Tyson trotted out there with Hartenstein still glued to the bench, I was shaking my head. I cannot understand it. If Morey fired him tomorrow, I would applaud, and I don’t say that lightly. I simply don’t understand what D’Antoni is doing with his rotations, except losing games, and I’m sick of it.
I said this other times and i say it again, the Rockets are fairly good at finding some interesting players in the 2nd round or undrafted ones, Hartenstein is another one of those guys that seems to have a really good potential, they just don't develop them for one reason (coach) or another (saving money/giving roster spots to Bobby Brown/Garcia)...Isaiah is probably just another guy who will end up traded like a salary filler because he won't play anyway, and will become a solid player in another team, then maybe we'll try to trade for him in 3/4 years when we won't have the assets or salaries to do it. We should've give him some minutes from the start of the season, not just when Clint or Tyson went down...then Mike plays him one game, then he sits him two, then he plays 4 minutes, then he sits him for two games and so on, what kind of development is that i don't know.
This,....Im really not sure why he's not playing. He needs the minutes. He isnt even doing that badly, Mike is just panicking way too much.
I'm convinced that in order to get minutes over PJ, Hartenstein needs to shrink 6 inches, hit the tanning booth and tattoo parlor.
My guess is that we're approaching half of the season, the standings are starting to get shape and Mike just wants to get wins now, and you know Mike just doesnt' trust/like to play young players unless they're really good so, he just goes back to his guys to try to win. But he should've used Hartenstein much earlier in the season anyway, we had plenty of games against bad teams where we could've give minutes to Isaiah, Gary instead of playing 7/8 guy, PJ 40 minutes etc...same old story.
