Listen, I'm willing to concede that Hartenstein wasn't ready to play at his current MVP level when he was 19, BUT HE WAS AT LEAST READY TO PLAY AT AN ALL-STAR LEVEL!

Our C position is set, if Harty can learn the 3ball we are REALLY set there......

Now we need a stretch PF - who is taller than what we have.

I think he can, but not yet, Isiah lights up G-League because he knows he belongs. He's finally finishing around the rim because of confidence. I don't think he has that confidence just yet from 3. A few times I saw him initiating the offense from the free throw line and not even looking for his shot. I'm not suggesting a mid range, but nobody was withing 6 feet of him. He easily could have made a strong move to the hoop but he's really still in garbage man mode. He's too busy setting picks and crashing boards to seek a 3.

Only way I can imagine Isiah finding a rhythm is to start at the 4 for PJ during an injury. I do believe he's capable of reliably hitting the 3, I'm just not sure he has the nerves unless he has a play run for him. Maybe a pick and pop from Harden up top could get him going,

If he keeps improving, we can trade him for a superstar and finally get Harden the support he does not need but deserves.

He is still posting on twitter (as recently as today) that he has inside information that the rockets are going to trade Capela and acquire Justise Winslow. Some things never change.

his switch defense was an issue and his ability to defend the high screen and roll. I noticed this the past year or so. The kid had gotten much better at those things hence more playing time. But regardless he should’ve played more to take the burden of CC. There’s no one else on the bench except for 6 min man T Chandler.

Let’s be honest though he had some issues on defense and fouls too much. But like I said regardless it seems he’s always doing something positive to make up for deficiencies. A steal here, block there, huge off rebound etc. just the mere fact the kid has a knack to make plays should’ve given him more playing time earlier in the season. This is what frustrated fans.
