Where in the hell are you getting this 7 ERA nonsense?

All of the guys that sucked were pitchers that had upside, or had been really good in the past. They didn't just accept that crappy pitchers were crappy, they had arms they hoped would be better.

We will likely have arms suck again this season even if Pruitts ERA may be less bad. Theres a difference between investing bad innings in potential upside and accepting proven scrubs.

If Pruitt isn't better this year he shouldn't be on the team long.

How many beats per second can Pruitt get on a trash can? That's the question here.

I found the Guduan only fan. The hope and upside in Rodgers was to be Pruit. Martin was the only one with hope, upside, and decent chance to be than Pruit last year that sucked last year. Upside and hope don't win ball games especially when the guys don't have much upside or hope. I'd much rather my team win games in seasons they are likely fighting for home field advantage than invest ininings in low upside and low hope guys.

One has to have a pretty low opinion of Luhnow to think he gave up prospects worth more than Pruit for Pruit. Luhnow isn't going to trade away the
prospect value equivalent to potentially improving Pruit.
