    He let Hakeem go play in Canada cause Dream wanted some thank you money for putting then Rockets on the map of respectability

    yet Yao Ming would never be traded

    we love Yao but we know Les was loyal to Chinese money

    So we've gone from a bad owner who bought a championship ready team to another bad owner who tore apart a championship ready team to duck the luxury tax ?

    Les was bad

    Tilman's just as bad.

    And being a 99er means jack to me , I been a fan of this franchise since the day they moved here from San Diego .... Guess that makes me a 71er.

    Bleh. Being a 99er makes you no more a fan than anyone else. Like I said , I've been a fan since 71. That's nearly 3 decades before the best part of CF ran down daddy's leg..

    You are trippin dude …. I haven't seen a single person here "Praise Les" for anything ….

    But to defend Ferntits is just silly when the pile of assets he spent ducking the tax is as substantial as it is.

    We can start with Ariza's bird rights which turned into Kelly Oubre Jr.

    Then all the assets used to dump Ryno's dead weight Ryno , Melton > Bk/Chriss > Shumpert 1st , 2nd. Not to mention not having that expiring contract to deal away. 2 TPE's worth 3.2 & 3.6m that are about to go unused
    Don't forget dumping Ennis for a 2nd
    Allowing Shumpert's bird rights to expire - no contract to trade.
    And lets not leave out the fact that they haven't spent the full MLE in the past two years-

    All the while the roster has 8 dudes on veteran minimum contracts which amount to squat for trade purposes and they just dumped Clark for luxury tax purposes.

    Yeah man , Ferntits is great ….

    Aint NOBODY talking about Les - cept you.

    How about both are stingy owners as 90% of the league are. Leslie got involved with coaches, McHale partially and MDA for sure, wanted the big names, did not want to pay up and liked to take credit for the championships but aside from that was hands off. Tilman is in the same vein, but with a bigger mouth, bigger ego and likes to be in the media. Let’s see what happens.
