Chandler, Tucker, and Tyson are first names now? Soccer mom spotted. Now all we need is McKensiey. Preferably with a chalkboard and crossed-out names above it... EDIT, yes, I blame "Friends" for part of this $hit.
Because they are cheap. And because maybe, just maybe, they might be able to do one NBA required skill better than a replacement player. Why do you think so many posters here complain about Fertitta the way they do?
Last time we stole a player from a rival team was this guy and he liked making Illuminati 3pt signs! William Howard is a 3pt specialists!!! Coincidence?? Yes or No?? ....... ....... .......
I sure hope this guy can shoot a high percentage in the NBA. With Harden next to him he will always be open.
Apparently he has always been able to hit threes. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/William-Howard-6127/
FWIW Howard played HS basketball in the USA and was a very good prospect that a lot of scouts felt would become a top college player. I want to say he went as far as to commit to Washington before going back to France to earn money right away. He has been good but not spectacular overseas. A number of NBA teams had interest and the Jazz bought out his contract with every intention to have him make their roster and possibly their rotation. He showed a good shoot and aggressiveness on offense. Ultimately he did not make the roster because the Jazz were not satisfied with his defensive effort or attention. He lacks elite explosive athleticism and his quickness laterally isn’t great. However he has excellent anticipation and instincts defensively. That allows him to use his 7’0” wingspan to compensate for his lack of lateral quickness. He is an interesting signing by the Rockets. He can shoot and is long with good instincts. If he practices hard and gives effort, he has a chance to play.
Would like to see Frazier and him get some spot minutes. They both can really shoot. Wont happen though.
Where I got everything else? My memory. He grew another inch by the time he left the USA and was 6’8” and 210 lbs with a 7’0” wingspan. He was heavily covered leading up until his college commitment.
Based on the video. He seems to like the wing spots on the three point line. Gets to it quick in transition so the point guards can feed him. Got that 'goose' hand follow through. Long wing span should help on the D.
