This is no accident. It happens frequently and many low info voters who get their news from CNN and other similar sources will not be aware of what CNN and MSNBC and the rest do in the "Bernie Blackout", but more folks are seeing through the games. The mainsteam media is so secure in their monopoly that they are willing to risk giving credence to the idea that they are part of the "fake news." As the Donald would say: "Not good!" "Not good!' Bad for democracy and only good for liars like Trump and the oligarchs.
Why would anyone use such an old poll when polls change every hour? It's to shoehorn a narrative to viewers.
I don't think I can agree with that statement .... They differ quite a bit on policy , Bernie Far Left and Buttigieg being more moderate. Those far left policies only appeal to a finite percentage of likely Dem voters and moderates being a larger percentage in general and then factor in Bernie and Warren essentially splitting the far left vote. Bernie and Warren are hurting each other more than anything else - if one or the other were to drop out , you'd see a surge for the one remaining but I do believe they are limited to less than 40% of the total.
Bernie Blackout? What? So this is a nefarious plot when they left the date of the poll on it. Are we sure this actually happened or somebody just posted a screengrab?
Maybe the guy who posted this used an old poll and claimed they ran that story today. Do you know his bonafides? It's pretty telling he used a screen grab instead of a video and its not like they don't talk about polls multiple times a day.
Neferious? No, this isn't a planned attempt formulated in a board room with intent. This is the natural DC bubble bias that major networks fall trap to.
Did nobody watch the video? He said it was the last Iowa poll and it was. The only other poll was from Emerson and they don't use them. So what exactly is the issue?
No what it actually was is a report that said this was the last poll taken in Iowa, which it was. So explain how that is a bias? This is the natural victimhood trap that Bernie Bros fall trap to.
Bernie polls very well in red states, man. Bernie only appeals to the left is another myth the media keeps feeding you. Regular Republicans the media is so thirsty to appeal to like Bernie's populism. You are also wrong about Bernie and Warren hurting each other. Their platform might be kind of similar, but their support is different. Warren supporters second choice is not overwhelmingly Bernie as you would assume. Warren's base is the affluent and white like Mayo Pete, it is less about what she is running on and more about who she is just like Mayo Pete. If Warren were to drop out, It's Mayo Pete or Klobuchar that would get the bump not Bernie. Biden's supporters, if Biden were to drop out, surprisingly would go to Bernie.
What is all of this supposed to tell us? Is it possible Pete is talked about a bunch because of the wine cave trainwreck? Or that Biden is discussed a lot because impeachment revolves around his son? Or that Bloomberg might be covered a bunch because he's new and he's spending a shitton of money? This doesn't distinguish between positive or negative coverage or provide context at all. Maybe Bernie isn't being talked about as much because he's not making news or being attacked by anyone else.
