Great post and confirmed by empirical evidence

Watching mrs. Maisel but I could be persuaded to stop and discuss further. Does Ewing theory need to be renamed???

They are sometimes better than teams in the East without Luka, is my conclusion.

I don’t know if Dallas is better without Doncic... but I can say that sonofa b**** traveled when Paul George defended him.

They’ve had some impressive wins. Very annoying.

Any team or family is better than a Euro Trash in it.

That being said, Mavs still suck.

Or maybe this is what good coaching looks like? MDA isn’t a horrible coach but I would drop him in a heartbeat for RC.

Impressive win in Philly last night on the road without him. With or without, they are legit and should be taken seriously.

Screw the Mavs but he is going to be a great player. Plays at his pace and is very smart with the ball.

Never thought I'd say this after 1980, but the new Star Wars flick could have used some George Luka input.

Mavericks are a team with great coach, good system and awesome chemistry.

Nobody thought Porzingis would accept being a glorified role player, but here we are - he takes pride in being a good rim protector, rebounder, spot up shooter and slasher.

Nobody thought Hardaway Jr. would stop being a chucker and play very decent defense on top of being efficient, yet here we are.

Nobody thought Kleber would be an early candidate for all-nba defensive team, yet...you know.

I think Luka being Luka was a part of this team's development to what we are seeing now, as was the coach and maybe even a bit softer schedule to start to give this team confidence.

But I think the main reason is Porzingis accepting his role, showing other players how to play for the team and not for yourself.

So in conclusion: This is a good team without Luka, and a pretty great one with him.

The interesting thing is without Luka, KP is not reverting to his Knicks ways. He is playing the same basketball with or without Luka.
