    Sounds good if we can magically circumvent rules to trade for him for no salary and Tilman is willing to pay like $30mil in luxury taxes. Otherwise never happening

    I can just imagine if 'holic was around this year...he'd come up with some type of circumvention that no one can cite rules that outlaw, despite Silver's veto pen of Nene's contract still in his pocket.

    He'd say we trade a FRP to CLE for rights to some foreign player, and in exchange CLE cuts Love ... but only after Love's UCLA ex-roommate Westbrook secures a promise from Love to forego 1yr of CLE's salary and sign the vet min with us after clearing waivers.
    yet, somehow, it would be much more complicated​

    Nah he wasn’t overly impressive last night against a porous (ie LAZY) Rockets defense is rather have Clint tbh.

    Because we're not exactly a defensive juggernaut. Exactly in the middle of the pack right now. Can't even pretend to be with the Rockets getting taken off the dribble as if Capela was a human turnstile the last several games anyhow. It's been a layup drill essentially and a swap imo wouldn't be too much of a detriment.

    But after reading this...

    ...I guess it's not possible, so nvm. Sigh...

    Yea it would, he would make an already bad defensive team, so much worse. We dont need more offense, we need more defense. its not that siimplistic i guess, but I really dont see it as anything more than a lateral movel.
