The point on polling has been argued and proven false numerous times before:

Here's the Real Clear Politics polling info for the last week leading up to the election: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...rump_vs_clinton_vs_johnson_vs_stein-5952.html

As you can see, the national polls were pretty close to the actual results (Clinton won the popular vote by around 2%) when you consider statistical error.

Here are more detailed analyses of polling and the 2016 presidential election.

    The Polls Are All Right
Election polls sometimes get the answer wrong — but they’re about as accurate as they’ve always been.

One last look: 2016 polls actually got a lot right

Congress represents the people that give them money, supporting the positions they advocate for. Investing in self-aggrandizing, over promising, obfuscation and outright lying yields profits. It's incentive is not limited by legality or morality, but only by a greater monetary loss. Arguments for the non-profit greater good are usually drowned out.

i.e. tobacco, climate change , Vietnam and now Afghanistan, mass transit, clean coal, private health insurance etc. etc.

Where is the retail consumer going to get a clear explanation of the contrasts between the current system and a single payer system? From their Congressman?

gaetz walked into the door... and since republicans have already sullied the reputation of congress... perhaps the next Democrat should ask about gym jordan's eyesight and judgement allowing young men to be molested in the ohio state showers while he was assistant coach?

Oh, it will live in infamy, Mr. Gohmert, but not for the reason you think. Enjoy the lifelong stain.
