Yeah but their points about all the shots that Harden and Russ has to take to win his game is legit, the rest of the team/bench almost didn’t have the number of shots James took. That may work against a Cleveland (barely) but it isn’t going to work against the top tier teams. This team as constructed with its awful defensive lapses and cold shooting at times is a first round playoff exit imo.

Frustrating game but Harden definitely put on a superman performance to make sure the Rockets don't lose

 

To be fair, James is hunting for calls as well. He is the ultimate baiter and is damn good at it. I can understand certain fouls people get upset about, like when James hooks another guy's arm as he is going up for a shot. Those would drive me batshit crazy as an opponent and to be honest, I would love the NBA to get rid of those kind of calls.

I find the arm hooking that James does similar to the BS Kevin Martin use to do when he would pump fake and then jump into his opponent. Just a total BS call.

I love Wilt, and what Harden is doing is very comparable. Probably lots of metrics showing it's even more incredible, or at least on par.

Now, if Harden just starts get 20 boards a game, we can talk. ;-)

FWIW...Wilt played against lots of top competition, that he didn't is a myth. He just made all the others look bad...often including Bill Russell (he got his 55 rebounds against Bill). Kareen and Wes Unseld aren't even on that list, either. And not a white guy on it. ;-)
