    Ok, I get it. So Melo really didn't play that well, but the "deep state" within the NBA rewarded him because of hatred for Daryl Morey. Gotcha

    He didn't play great. I said he played good games, but nothing worthy of a player of the week award.

    And yes, it's a feel good story for Melo to get a POTW award because everybody thought he was washed up.

    Its not that difficult man lol. Geez.

    the Rockets went 2-0 as Harden averaged 47 ppg including 60 in 3 quarters

    the Mavs went 2-1 as Luka averaged 30, 9, and 9

    Melo got it because they felt sorry for him

    Then it is even more crystal clear and I dun understand what the fuss is all about....

    The NBA is starting to give out Mini "Lifetime Oscars, Emmys or Grammys".

    I would have preferred it if they did it at the end of the season but here they go.

    And Melo is probably one of the only ones that deserves a lifetime recognition, he is not a total scrub.

    Harden and Luka can win "Player of the Week" every other week they want to.......Melo cannot.

    I have spoken.

    All that is crystal clear is that Melo definitely didn’t deserve it. POTW going to who u feel most sorry for is pathetic, but I guess Melo needs anything he can get.

    Advanced to the playoffs 3 seasons. Two 1st round losses, one 2nd round loss. A couple of losing seasons.

    Thats hardly deserving of the honor. What you think @rocketchamp ?

    Ironically, if there is one team that does deserve to hang his number, it's the Knicks, based on how disastrous of an organization it is.

    Melo didn’t do sh*t in NY, so retiring his jersey would be so ridiculous...everyone seems to feel sorry for him these days so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens even tho Knicks fans wanted his ass gone for like 2 years before he finally waived his NTC
