As far as I’m concerned he’s out every game. 5 minutes don’t constitute as serviceable. A waste of a signing and roster space.
The Rockets game style is still moving too fast for Harty... and giving Capela a blow / garbage time isn't going to improve that. Neither, however, is G-League play- he seems to have mastered that. So... does that mean he's on the block this week?
The last draft pick/undrafted that Morey select actually contributed to the Rockets team is ? Exception : Milton who got traded to the Suns so that we can dump the contract of Anderson, though he never played a game for the Rox though. But then Hstein and Clark are basically both garbage players, Vincent Edwards probably played 20 minutes of garbage time in his whole Rockets career? Chinau, or is that his name? Big Johnson? Joe Chee the ultimate scrub? House is a G League rejects, Morey just took a flyer on him, he was not even drafted.
Hopefully it is just temporary. Orlando and Detroit have big lineups and have been somewhat decent at home travelling with just Capela as a true center (with Chandler having the flu) would be risky unless the GM has some sort of trade plan.
For somebody to contribute he must see the court first. Hartenstein has proven adequate when given PT. With Chandler injured now is the worst time to take Hartenstein out of the lineup but Dumbtoni just loves midget ball and getting outrebounded by every other team in the NBA.
I think he is more of a sabateur... Bitter and angry that D. Howard and the Rockets tossed his salad back in 2015 and hasn't gotten over it...
This franchise is going be in a very bad place in 2 to 3 years. We don't covet or develop young talent and offer our draft picks like candy. Once Harden and WB experiment is over, we are in for a very long ride.
We will be able to rebuild if Tilman let’s us. We need to have patience and do what Dallas did. You have to take your lumps and draft well. Or you can do what SA did and GS is trying to do. Just take one year off and get the #1 pick. Make sure you pick up the right person and keep rolling.
The Rockets are stuck with running this small ball lineup with Tucker at Center. The Lakers are going to murder us... We need a another Big Man to spell Capela if that isn't Chandler then go find somebody Morey...
D'Antoni is not on the same page as Morey. Why invest in players and then pretty much look for any and every reason *not* to play him? He clearly is capable. I'm not saying he's a surefire rotation piece, but he is quite clearly too good for the G-League, and has flashed moments when given his few chances in actual NBA games. It's just another example of the Rockets wasting roster spots. I do not understand it.
