whether you like it or not, this organization does a tremendous job of painting itself as a villain, whether it's complaining about officiating, its treatment of players or a perceived "rule-bending" superstar. they really can't get out of their own way sometimes.

I hate to jump on any conspiracy theory banana boats, but it sure does seem like somebody wants Morey gone and they are trying to build a case against him that is not related to his Twitter.

More in context, Melo is just Meloing. He's done this type of entitled, primadona bs from Denver to OKC to Houston. As others have indicated, the Rockets gave Chris Paul 160M reasons for him not to play the victim role, regardless of where they sent him out or how it was done. Chances are, if he would have been willing to take a salary more commensurate with his current abilities, the team could have added more talent around him and perhaps try to make it work. But again, 40m a year is hardly a reason for anybody to cry, especially for playing f'ing basketball. Melo making it sound like this was such a horrible thing to do to CP3 just shows the sense of entitlement he has and is projecting towards his bff.
