Watched it last night. I felt like it was a "let's get the crew back together and make another gangster flick" film. I thought Pesci and Pacino were great. Also, the dude from The Wire (Dominic Lombardozzi) was real good. He had a lot of scenes with Pesci and DeNiro and I thought he felt more genuine than DeNiro. Ray Romano was pretty good too.

Al Pacino is a legend and an amazing actor, but is it me or was he a really bizarre choice for Jimmy Hoffa.

I watched it this weekend on Netflix, it was OK but I feel I've seen them all do this type of movie just in different characters. I like the Pesci character from Goodfellas and the DeNiro character from Casino, they are iconic to me. It was OK, a little long but overall a 6/10 IMHO

I've only watched an hour of this so far. The aging thing is off putting. I couldn't tell if they were going from 90 year old Pesci and DeNiro to 65 year old them or what age they were supposed to be when they were "young". I finally figured out that DeNiro is supposed to be in his 30's i guess, but he still looks like he's in his 60's. You can make their faces look younger but their bodies move and look their age. When DeNiro beats up the guy at the corner store is the most obvious aspect of this. He looked horrible trying to beat up a guy in slow motion. I wanted to refrain from comment until I finished the movie because I see how much love this movie is getting, but I don't understand it.

The movie drags along. Pacino and Pesci are great but the script isn’t fantastic. It’s worth watching but this best picture talk seems kind of like Carmelo winning player of the week.

I think we're just supposed to be grateful that it's not a comic book movie.

I wasn’t all that excited at another mob movie from Scorsese and crew, but this had a different tone than the others, and I thought it was great. It didn’t feel like 3.5 hours.

Watched it this morning. Loved it. Thought the aging was done really well didn’t distract me at all. Acting was, unsurprisingly, great.

Only guy who didn’t work for me was Pacino as Hoffa.

Got through 2.5 hours last night, and another 1 this morning.

Not worth the hype. So many dragged out unnecessary scenes. I just kept telling myself...you can do it!...keep going!
Yes the acting is good but I can't ever see myself watching it again.

I think I might try this, instead of watching 3:20 all at once.

Curious why Scorsese decided to go with this shot from the distance, especially with De Niro at his age trying to play a younger person. Should have went with the Goodfellas shot.

I finished watching it and I will give it a 5.5 out of 10. A great story to be told, but I simply can't get past the terrible casting due to the ages of the actors playing people 30 years younger then they are. I will watch it again but it's not an all time classic.

Not a bad breakdown. Netflix should do this now that the nominations are secure.

Still don't get how people are so hung on the actor ages personally.

Because the slow motion, body slumping and and poor posture makes it hard to watch. That's how i felt.

I did feel like they didn't quite look as young as they should, but perhaps the technology isn't there yet to really de-age them and make it look realistic. It's different if its a quick-cut action movie where the camera doesn't really dwell on the character's faces that long.

3 and a half hour movie with bad digital aging. I'll pass on this one.

It's funny how people struggle with a 3.5 hour movie but will gladly sit down and binge 5-6 hours of a TV show
