Texans usually follow up a big win with one of the worst performances ever. Anticipating the offense to put up less than 10 points. Hope I’m wrong.

I could be completely wrong but a victory Sunday would give the Texans their first sweep of another AFC division in their history.

Hopefully raiders beat the oilers Sunday. Division pretty much a wrap if that happens.

Definitely rooting for the raiders but I don’t think it’s a wrap until we beat them atleast once.

Seth Payne said DEN confused Philip Rivers with some of their defensive schemes. Will be interesting to see how Watson reacts and executes. Von Miller didn't play, but is expected to this week.

I'm hoping BOB comes out with an aggressive game plan designed to attack Denver with quick routes, ball fakes, and chunk plays. Moving the sticks on that defense will be essential. They thrive in 3rd and medium/long situations. Of course now that I've said that, I'm sure BOB will determine that running on 1st and 2nd down with a conservative approach is the best way to limit their prolific offense. Gotta keep Drew Lock off the field after all.

If you're tailgating, stop by the Budweiser Plaza between 9:30 and 12. I hear there's a pretty good band playing!....

I was thinking the exact same thing; hope we are both wrong. Losing to Denver on your home field would be catastrophic.

Poor choice per DVOA. Top third ish against the run; league average against the pass. I'd say more about which kind of receivers they're bad against, but football outsiders charge for that now, and LOL at subscribing.

Make it a large dose of Duke Johnson in space, and hopefully the coin flip that is Will Fuller's health comes up heads.

Really, I fear a letdown---it would be what we've come to expect from the old Texans---but they should handily win this game. Vegas agrees, with an open at -7.5, and a move up to -9/-9.5. https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

Agree completely. I think this game will determine if the Texans are really going anywhere, or just happy to end the season with a victory over NE.

If the Texans pull a Texans lose this game, the saving grace is that it isn't a fatal blow. The two games vs. the Titans are really where we are going to determine our fate. If we lose this game what is virtually destroyed are our 1st round bye chances (which aren't good to begin with), but our chances of winning the division remain almost unmoved.
