BS...that's the Harden rule.

 

He's been spoiled by James Harden, and to a lesser extent, Chris Paul.

 

And people can't tell me Harden isn't the best player in the league. What other player in the league gets this type of treatment?

 

tonight's play is really heartening. I like that we are trying out Wesbrook as the ball dominant guy with Harden off the ball. Russ has done well distributing the ball. everyone is much more involved. Russ is in a better rhythm and more confident. James will get his, but look at how much more balanced we are playing. We are even playing half way decent defense.

I would like to see more of this approach. I think getting Wesbrook involved early, allowing him to have the ball in his hands, is key. Harden is so good, he'll find ways to get his buckets.

 

He's shooting 4/12. I wouldn't say he's dominating out there. He's literally not playing well, it's just Harden can't do anything out there.

 

They made rules to slow down Harden lol.

Yet all this dude gets is hate from the media.

On the Jump they had a quote from Van Vleet that said "I haven't met a single player that doesn't appreciate Harden"

And these people tried to twist what he said as if he meant something else by 'Appreciate'. Dude is an athlete not a politician, he meant what he said.

 

Man Lowry flops all the time. Toronto commentators a bit homerish but not so bad

 

James Harden's regular season greatness is too much of a crutch for MDA. He takes time off from actually running an offense because Harden is a whole offense.

Everyone is hitting their WIDE NAKED OPEN jumpers now, but what happens when they aren't hitting? There should be something to get an easy bucket. I hate the tired, Well he was open, he should make his open shots argument. Some time players don't have the touch and need some help from the coach.

 

If Rockets had a guy running off picks and a shooter like JJ Reddick, teams would think thrice about double teaming Harden at the half court line every time down the court.

Get dead eye shooters with fast releases on this team and Harden will feast.

Nah, outside of shooting Russ has been alright. He's leading the team in assists has a few rebounds, he's contributing.

If he can stop passing Capela the ball he'd be doing much better, we got our big lead with just Russ in the game.

 

He's gonna hurt himself pretending to get hurt.

 

MDA isn't known for his player development.

 

Refs don't matter. . . .the Rockets just have to overcome it. . .
Rockets just have to get use to playing 5 on 8

So Rockets have to over come and be super good . . .cause great is not good enough . . .
I mean . .it is for other teams but not the Rockets -- All the "They should play through it" *fans*
