    Just a random thought:

when... the league does nothing to rectify this, what if the rockets didn’t fly to Toronto to play? What if they said f it- here’s our protest..... we ain’t showin up.

that’s the crazy world I live in inside my head lol

I agree what you saying but It makes not care because how we lost a huge lead without their best player, the typical meltdown happen.

Refs fixed a missed basket by Ginobody at first stoppage of play. Why couldn't they do that this time?

Dekker scores 4 points on same dunk @Os Trigonum

Ok, I may have jumped the gun on the book, but they were definitely on the scoreboard.

I can say this, the NBA App Box Score and Play by Play that I was following initially had it as a bucket. It was changed afterwards. Wish I had grabbed a snapshot.

That should make our case. I did not see the ref waiving the basket, so he cannot claim the basket interference BS. He just let the play go and ruled out of bounds.

    lmao

They'd just give the Raptors the win. Great job, Rockets!

That's probably what they'll do any way.

People can say the Rockets should just shut up and own the loss, but that’s bullshit.

If the Rockets have the extra two points, they are leading 117-109 with 1:07 left in regulation and they have possession. Considering it’s now a three-possession game with roughly a minute remaining, the Spurs have no choice but to start fouling. The odds are near 100% that Harden buries the Spurs’ chances from the free-throw line.

Instead, because the Rockets didn’t have those two points, it remained a two-possession game, and the Spurs didn’t have to start fouling. Then, Walker hits a three with 41.5 seconds remaining, and it’s a one-possession game, so they still don’t have to foul. If the Rockets have those two points, it’s still a two-possession game, and Harden is parading to the free-throw line again.

It’s not hard to see that this game likely ends up a 5-10 point Rockets’ win if the Spurs have to start intentionally fouling James Harden with 1:07 remaining.

Can you imagine if this had happened to one of the Los Angeles teams?

Lebron would take his team off the court.

    Nope

Kawhi and PG wouldn't blow a 22 point lead for it to end up mattering

LeBron and Davis wouldn't blow a 22 point lead for it to end up mattering

I cannot imagine it, in fact.

Right, because that's the point the OP was trying to make? I hate arguments like this. "INCONCEIVABLE!" Come on man, we all know if this was an LA team, the public and media reaction would be WAY different.

For the folks talking about take the L. If your bank mistakingly deposits a lesser amount of your check and they decide to not go back and change it, go ahead and take that L.

God, this is really a thing with you.

I agree, the Rockets stopped playing hard (this one beats the Milwaukee loss for painful), but if this would have made the difference on a win, they should have the win. It likely would have changed the Spurs' game plan at the end.
