    Happy Thanksgiving!

Harden plays average 38.9 minutes In last 7 games. MDA said he is worried about it, but he does not have solution.

I project 24 playoffs games and Harden plays 43 minutes a game

The most important thing now is that The conflict between DM and MDA could happen if the Clutchfans here don’t have solution either.

What is your solution right now?

Honest the most important part of load management is the other players learning to play without him.

DanAndToni learning to coach without him

Westbrook is going to have to stop sucking in order for us to be able to reduce his minutes. Much less give him a game off.

    places to start:
    Buy in from Harden
    Gordon / Green returns
    Clemons with spot minutes
    More defined Westbrook role

Westbrook-only lineups have been terrible. There isn’t a solution unless those improve.

But it really isn’t. James is getting old and he plays a brutal game at times driving so much.

He got undercut yesterday on a step back and probably sprained that ankle.

Westbrook needs to stabilize so Harden can get down into the low 30s.

Theres no solution right now ,as I said before if Morey can get us another serviceable backup 4 and with the return of Eg ,that would significantly reduce harden's minutes, I do believe in the idea of load management because me as a personal trainer we understand that taking days off is necessary for body recovery.I guess it's just a waiting game till eg is back and wait on Morey. Both morris twins are playing great right now ,I wonder wats the asking price .

can't load managed Harden unless we are ranked 1 in the west with about 7-8 games buffer from the second seed. we are a lottery team without Harden.

I’d rest Harden 15 games, allow young players to develop.

    Assumption
No rest harden = 3 seed
    Rest harden. = 6 seed

Declare regular season swag champ as the real trophy

Or just realize that shiny empty vessels will leave you as empty as they are.

It's all a construct. Free your mind.

You're right. That is the solution. HOWEVER, D'ANTONI WILL NEVER SEE IT! TEN MINUTES OF PLAY TIME WITH CAPELA OUT? COME ON!

Getting EGo back will definitely help, but don't count of GG coming back this season. I really hope Clemons can get more minutes and has a more defined role (you read me, MDA?).

But even so, your first point is a pipe dream because Harden will never buy in to load management.

I'm not too worried about Harden … the falls he takes aren't the type that cause injury really. He's almost always under control of those falls , at least when going to the basket. Now those times guys undercut him on 3's ….

Can't trust WBrook to carry a team, so if load managed, James just gets 1 or 2 games off.

    I’m going with DRtg overall
    https://stats.nba.com/teams/defense/?sort=DEF_RATING&dir=-1&Season=2019-20&SeasonType=Regular Season

Only 2 teams have won the NBA championship outside of top 10 DRtg in the regular season in the last 19 years.
    2000-01 Lakers (22nd in DRtg)
    2017-18 Warriors (11th in DRtg)

Being top-6th in DRtg in the regular season would bring us greater odds:
    2001 Lakers (22nd DRtg)
    2002 Lakers (7th DRtg)
    2003 Spurs (3rd DRtg)
    2004 Pistons (2nd DRtg)
    2005 Spurs (1st DRtg)
    2006 Miami (10th DRtg)
    2007 Spurs (2nd DRtg)
    2008 Celtics (1st DRtg)
    2009 Lakers (6th DRtg)
    2010 Lakers (3rd DRtg)
    2011 Mavs (8th DRtg)
    2012 Miami (4th DRtg)
    2013 Miami (9th DRtg)
    2014 Spurs (4th DRtg)
    2015 Warriors (1st DRtg)
    2016 Cavs (10th DRtg)
    2017 Warriors (2nd DRtg)
    2018 Warriors (11th DRtg)
    2019 Raptors (5th DRtg)

Now there are no guarantees that you win the NBA championship with a top 6 DRtg in the regular season; but
your chances in the last 19 years have been better. IMHO.
