    My impression is that Barr will stick around to whatever outcome.

    By the way, even after today's testimony, in reality world of American politics, Trump is still probably fine in the Senate and could even still win re-election against a Sanders or Warren or Bootie. Nevermind being removed from office, LOL.

    But the impeachment vote in the House should be absolutely sealed today, perhaps with one or two GOP defectors onboard.

    pompeo's departure from the cabinet (and hopefully, if he doesn't see jail time, departure from public life) won't come soon enough. The guy is not only corrupt, but also a jerk (the reporter WAS doing his job asking him the question... pompeo was the the one doing his job avoiding answering).

    The next guy will be Dan Brouillette, Perry's deputy, and it's expected he'll be much the same as Perry on energy matters. Just as much a political animal as Perry too. Probably smarter though (just playing the odds here).
