The main issue I have with Love is that MDA is going to mess around and play him at Center.

Love is injury prone he can break his leg or dislocate his shoulder or cut his finger the moment we get him.

Plus MDA is gonna play him at center and thats just gonna make him even more injury prone.

 

Yeah , I've never understood the fascination with Love around here.

Not only is he injury prone but what does he really fix and how does he fit ?

Play him at the 5 ? No … not really mobile enough to do what is required of a 5 in this offense and not enough of a defensive presence on the other end.

Play him at the 4 ? While it might work offensively - No , who's he going to defend ? We have enough bad defenders on this team that its hard to hide them.

And we haven't even discussed sitting on the trainers table 20-30 games.

Kevin Love that was in Minny ? Yeah , I take that guy but he's been dead and gone for 5 year or more …. not the corpse of Kevin Love who's just hanging around cashing checks.

 

You aren't getting Anthony Randolph. He has an active contract with Real Madrid with no NBA clause, to my knowledge. Jonathon Simmons would be nice if he can hit his threes. Great wing defender. Lance Thomas is not good enough for the NBA. Corey Brewer... is Corey Brewer. At this rate, DMo's team in China won't make the playoffs, maybe signing him for the minimum is better than trading for Love and his 30M/year contract.

Kevin Love is an upgraded version of Ryno.

 

Like going from Dollar Tree to Walmart upgrade. What we need is a Costco.

 

DMo is the best route to go at this point.

 

Would love to have DMo back if he really wants to come back.
He's a waste of talent playing in China.

 

Even CP3 thinks Love is injury prone, but he would fit in here because he doesn't play defense either.

 

Kevin Love is way too expensive and not worth the risk. I want no part of KLove.

Skal Labissiere on the other hand is type of player and contract that is more realistic with low risk and huge upside. Skal is severely undervalued imo, the exact type of player Morey goes after. I'd offer Capela to move the needle on this.

 

Nothing will stop the harden double teams. Steph curry played with klay and KD and was still doubled. When you have an offensive force like harden you get the ball out of hands no matter what and live with the consequences even if it’s leaving an all star open because at least they aren’t harden.

 

Honestly DMo wouldn't be a bad option. He's definitely an NBA player and could help this team and would give them a "go big" option that they just don't have.

But I'm afraid that bridge has been torched ….
