    Harrell is a paint-based player.
Lou Williams is an offensive magic.
    Beverley is a defensive magic.

    their biggest strengths are intangible.

    this year salary
    Bev 12 mil
    Lou 8 mil
    Harrell 6 mil

If Harrell would’ve developed like he did and we would’ve had the defenders to compensate for his lack of it, plus a little luck with Beverley’s health then maybe I’d take them over Westbrook. However it’s a moot point, because CP3 attracted Tucker among others. Also very unlikely Harrell would be used like in LA with our 3pt focus.

I don’t know. Harrell was starting to jack three-pointers when he was here. I was like, Oh, no—-not this!

He almost never saw the court in his last Rockets’ playoffs. Even in that game when Dan Tony ran only 7 guys.

He was pretty much wasted here.

Would you rather have these Rockets legends or Chris Paul?

Bev's extremely overrated. Sure, at one point, he was a helluva defensive player. But, injuries/time had pretty much taken the D, before he sharpened that 3. The two never really existed in him at the same time. And, he wasn't a good ball handler. Hats off to PBev though for getting the most out of his talent/career, but he's a shell of what he was.
And, at 12 million. Forget about it.

Harrell is a role player, nothing more. In his own way, similar to what Pat did, he's clawed out a niche. Gotta respect that.

Lou has a load of talent , but has always lacked consistency, and D. He's 6th man instant offense @ a sweet #. Still, a role player.

So, to my way of thinking, the Clippers have one pretty cached/overrated/overpaid player in Bev, and two useful role players.

    So, NO...not even close.

The Clippers will not see the Finals

No they not a superstar, they are role players on a good deals. The only reason they are relevant is because they are the supporting cast of 2 allstar players.

I wonder if the love for Trez will start to dissipate next year when his next contract will be around 4 years $72 million

Too bad we don't have another superstar beside Harden. We just have Westbrook who gets superstar money without superstar gameplay.

Why did we lose in the playoffs when they were here?
They had nothing to do with it?

    I'd rather have Russ Westbrook.

lou williams is very streaky and can win you a game like last night, or also shoot you out of one. the one constant though is that he's one of the worst defensive players in the league. beverley is hot trash. harrell is the only regret i have and i was really pissed at the time that we gave him up. plus the first round pick.

Rockets had the original Trez, but chose not to re-sign him in offseason.

They're all decent role players and deserve their contract. Role players gets less scrutiny by the national media, but they've been scouted.

Bev good defender, but get into foul trouble too easily. His reputation is changing from being a good defender to a good defender who also flops. His offense is very much a hit or miss, which means you can sag off of him and help on defending PG or Kawhii.

Lou is clutch, a great scorer off the bench, but if an opposing team is hunting for a weak defender like in the playoffs, he's easy pickings.

They're good players, but they're far from perfect.

Rockets had 1 of their best and most enjoyable seasons in franchise history because of that trade, so with all due disrespect, STFU OP

tired of people crying over these role players

If u didn’t have that same energy when the Rockets were 1 hamstring away from a title, then just keep quiet.

Rockets with those guys and no CP3/Tucker would’ve been absolutely stomped by GS...don’t give me that the Clippers took GS to 6 last year when 1 of those wins required the miracle of coming back from down 30+ on the road...Clippers were getting blown off the floor for like 70% of that series

Are those guys ever getting us to a season as good as 17-18? No? Then have a seat with all this hindsight talk.

Not only was that the best Rockets team ever but it was one of the greatest of all time

    Yes it was worth it.
