These are the games that a mid-tier playoff team loses.

Same as last season. Any team that needs Harden to score 40 a game isn't it.

He will carry us into the playoffs... but that's it.

Respectable outcome despite the loss. Very close game

Healthy Rockets are an absolute contender.

Clippers defense was nothing special. Rockets did their normal output.

I don't know how dumb we get when we play against him. I would rather we foul them and give away free throws rather than let George hit another key 3pt corner shot. He did the same thing against us last season.

Rocket should have crushed the Clippers. The refs called 4 straight fouls to start the 4th, I knew what was going to happen.

Clint getting blocked by a small forward and creating a fast break in which he could have stole the ball back if he dove which he didn't leading to a wider open 3 was the actual killer.

Good one weren’t meant to win this without enough firepower.

Clippers got grips of clutch players hitting clutch shots.

Not much we can rely on except harden and he’s getting doubled and triple teamed

Whatever. They basically won by 1 point (before we had to intentionally foul) with the Refs sending them to the line on pretty much every possession in the 4th quarter.

fwiw: retaining the timeout also preserves ability to challenge.

Daryl Morey LOVES wasting Harden's prime by pairing him up with r****ds and **** ups.

Yep. We should have shot a FT and had a chance for a miss and tip in. This kind of stuff is so frustrating.

Not sure if I've ever screamed "NOOOOOO!!!" louder than when Westbrook was gearing up to take that brick.

Then when Sefolosha was the apparent trigger man before the play began I started yelling too. Why not Chandler who has 80 years of experience and is as tall as a skyscraper??

The free throw parade in the 4th was the difference

Westbrook should literally stay in the gym ALL NIGHT practice free throws. 3-7 is ridiculous for a PG. He was once an 85% FT shooter WTF HAS HAPPENED TO HIM?!??!?!??!

Russ with blown layups and missed fouls cost us the game.
