What Harden's Doing That's Not Gonna Carry Him To Championship - Rockets Legend Tracy McLady

Yeah I'm so sick of all the praise the Warriors get for factors outside of their talent. "Oh they figured out James Harden"..."Look at how good the GSW system is". They barely beat a team of James Harden, an all-star past his prime (who got injured), and a bunch of role players. And they had 2 MVP level players, 2 all-stars, and a former all-star? Yeah wow good job LOL.

 

Also funny how the Rockets two games ago w/ 3 starters injured, so basically James Harden + role players and G-league fill-ins, was still a formidable team that would probably make the playoffs if not come very close.

Warriors earlier this season w/ Steph, D'Angelo, Draymond + G-leaguers were absolutely TERRIBLE. Yet all I hear is people criticizing Harden and D'antoni whenever they get that chance.

 

T-mac doe have a vast amount of experience in NOT GETTING PAST THE FIRST ROUND UNLESS HE BENCH WARMS ON THE SPURS BENCH

The Rockets played their best game against the Blazers. Harden didn’t dominate the ball, and he was super efficient.

So, yeah, maybe Kobe is right. I’ll take a 33% usage, 33 ppg, and 66% ts% in the playoffs, rather than 40% usage, 40 ppg, and 56% ts%.

 

He DOES have glasses, so he knows what he's talking about.

 

Funny thing, Tracy had similar weaknesses coming into the league.

Moving bad off the ball, and inconsistent defensive efforts... with some of the same strenghts, vision, passing and scoring.

What happens with the Rockets and former players. They throw massive shade (Charles, Pippen, Tmac, Kenny, etc...). You know why, because we're the 3rd largest city and it gets them viewers and comments from us. We shall see, the only team that concerns me is the Clippers in the playoffs with a healthy George/Kawhi. However, I think Kawhi knees are going to trouble him all year!

 

To be fair, Kenny picked the Rockets to win this year and Harden to win MVP

It is not surprising that McGrady has done pretty much everything he can to disrespect Harden and the Rockets and ruin pretty much any last good-will between him and the city of Houston after joining ESPN.

I’m glad that my antipathy towards McGrady, after he showed how pitiful his soul was in quitting on us in 2009, has been completely validated by his post-NBA career. You keep hating on Houston, Tracy.
