You cannot take anything he says seriously when it pertains to the Rockets. He is still bitter over his firing and blames Daryl Morey and James Harden.

So not really the same thing at all. AB didn't have the body frame or strength to go hard at the rim. That's why he had his circus shot floater. He made it decently enough, but he just didn't have the ability to drive and finish like Clemons does.

Chemistry between the 2 is a big part of it, but a bigger part is that:
    • Westbrook can actually beat guards off the dribble, where in his 2nd season CP3 had trouble beating bigs. While he is a much shittier shooter, he becomes a legit cutting threat with his burst and sheer physicality going to the rim.
    • Westbrook single handily brings an elite transition to our offense, which is jarring when paired with Harden's half court mastery. It really keeps the D on their heels when WB ignites a 4v4 transition and Harden is just lumbering up from behind daring his defender to leave him open for an open 3 at the top.
Like I've reiterated so many times before, we don't need WB to "fit" with Harden, we need him to take the load off. He can do that, just like CP3 could his first year with us.

I truly believe Giannis will end up with the Warriors. Giannis may say he has no interest in teaming up with other stars but he would love to play with Steph and the idea of him joining Golden State would have been something he could never realistically consider until now.

If Milwaukee somehow has a disappointing season (2nd round, meaning 2 of Boston Philadelphia and Toronto have to be better), then he’ll simply ask to be traded to Golden State and Milwaukee will have to do it. By then he’ll only have 1 year remaining, and no team (Milwaukee or trade partners) will give up everything at the risk of losing him for nothing. Meanwhile, Giannis can make it clear he would re-sign with the Warriors, and at the same time Milwaukee will get the best package from Golden State. They have a lot to work with. (A top 5 pick?, even better if it’s top 3, whatever they get for DLo, such as a good young player and another high first rounder, and Draymond if need be on top of future picks. They also have a massive trade exception that they can somehow trade into an asset like take on a bad contract this year for one more first round pick). Also any young player that shows potential can be tossed in.

EDIT: If it’s the number 1 or 2 pick I would bet everything this trade happens
