"a fully healthy Clippers team should be the favorites to win it all" tell me if this is fact or opinion...
paul george had one good game against the rockets as a pacer when he was on his own in 2016-2017... the other game we let jeff teague (per usual) go off on us for nearly 30 points, whereas pg struggled to shoot even 30% from the field... and you were saying that he could singlehandedly beat the rockets? hyperbole much?
It is actually a FACT. That is what the oddsmakers currently are assuming since there are no current season ending injuries to key players, and they are the current favorites.
how in the actual **** are you reading this as a fact??? you only started stating the oddsmakers assumptions only when your line of thinking got questioned. you clearly need to know the difference between a fact and an opinion.
and way to be such a good mannered poster. go and accuse me for being high on the pipe and shaming me for what you think is a lack of reading skill. way to make it personal, dude. and not about bball "a fully healthy Clippers team should be the favorites to win it all." -- this is clearly your conclusion, is it not? and you backed that up in later posts with the premise that oddsmakers favor the clippers. that still doesn't change the fact that what you said as your conclusion isn't an opinion. and if you still don't believe what you initially said wasn't your own opinion... i have nothing more to say you. that was not a fact.. there is no way in the english language that those words that you used can be construed in any which way to make that statement a fact. you really can't own up to your own words i guess.
Yeah, alot of other players turn those stats into wins or make the team, better. The Nets haven't gotten noticeably worse from last year. Grabbing Kyrie with Russell sent to GS was supposed to catapult them into a steady playoff contender. Now, they looking primed for the lottery.
So, if KD was dissatisfied with OKC and GSW. You don't think the same could happen with the Nets who are far more unstable, combustible, and not centered.
Maybe that is more hyperbole but it is a fact that Paul George has improved leap and bounds with OKC and not with the Pacers. With the Pacers he was just a good Allstar, with OKC he was a superstar at the end. He is one of the few players that can attempt a huge amount of 3s and still getting to nail it with 38-39% accuracy. Harden is gradually getting there but too much to ask for.
cmon now you are underrating harden heavily remember when he has beaten helathy klay dray steph and durant all by himself? or do you count scott foster and tony brothers as an integral part of the clippers?
Didnt mean to make it personal, so my apologies for that. I will say this, If I were to place a wager for fun, I will say that I'd take the +750 on Houston over the +300 on the Clippers. I personally believe the Lakers at +300 is the better bet over the Clippers as well. Either way it is going to be a fun season, and the team that wins will likely not have won in 10+ years so it should be good for the NBA.
I also meant the Clippers, they did have a long way to go. Didn't even mention Houston players. Why u putting words in my mouth?
