If Harden focused on shooting a better shot selection he could probably get his TS% over 65%, like Curry did for a couple of years. Rockets are also 16th in turnovers this year as Harden and WB are coughing it up too much. And Harden's defense has been terrible, he's shown that he can do better.

the current Rockets ain’t doing sh*t with a 25 ppg Harden or a 32 mpg Harden...Harden drops 30 last night and we walk away with a big L...Rockets dramatically reducing Harden’s usage in order to significantly lower his turnovers means more creation from our limited role players who can barely even dribble...

Yeah, we'd absolutely need real depth in order to reduce Harden's load like that, but I think it would do a lot for our team's success and Hardens health going forward on his 30+ years.

Morey has gotten players that MDa just refuses to play in the regular season. MDa doesn't trust in his coaching ability to run with fringe players. Doc, Pop, Nurse, Brad Stevens, RC in Dallas have all used fringe talent to great effect.
