Wow! Just saw it on Channel 13 news ticker. Let's hope a change of scenery was all he needed.

He's a coach's son, and was lauded for his work ethic and leadership at Florida. I have several friends that went to UF, and every one of them says Hargreaves will bleed for you if he feels appreciated and loved. That scheme in Tampa simply was not meant for him, and I think he allowed the struggles to affect his approach and attitude. He absolutely was putrid in Tampa, but the talent and heart are still there. It's just up to Romeo/BOB to bring it out of him. I'm VERY cautiously optimistic.

low risk high reward pick up. We don't have a 1st next year but you can look at him as our 1st round draft choice.

    Conley's a bust?

He looked pretty good to me in London.

How in the world is this false? You realize we've traded a ton of picks away, right?

Because it's purely a rental. Doubtful he'll be on the team at $9m+ next year

Oh, here we go. If he plays well the rest of the season, he will be here.
Traded a #1 and #3 in 2020. Got back a 4th and 6th Also traded the #3 pick from Seattle they got for Clowney. Traded a #1 and a #2 in 2021. Will get 1 maybe 2 - #3 compensatory picks in the 2020 draft. So No, they didn't trade away a TON of picks (It just the 1st and 2nd round pick you notice more). They lose 1 pick in 2020 draft and 2 in the 2021 draft.

Yes, you notice the 1st round, 3rd round, and 2nd round picks more because they are worth infinitely more than 4th and 6th round picks. These assets are not equal.

We have one 2nd round pick the next two years, no first round pick the next two years. Trading your two first rounds picks, a 2nd round pick, and a 3rd round pick...that's a lot of draft picks. You can trade away 6 6th round picks and maybe...maybe that would be worth a single first round pick.

They have all of their picks if you take into account their 3rd rd comp pick. In fact they might even get two 3rd rd comp picks and two 4th rd picks. The only pick they will be missing in 2020 is their 1st rd pick. While 1st rd picks are important only about 50% of them hit. Tunsil is well worth it and that doesn't even take into account Stills. The 2021 draft will look a lot like the 2018 draft and I dont think that's hurting the Texans right now. Do you?

    Agreed, nothing wrong with this.

If he pans out then he will be worth the 9 million and the option will be picked up.

Low risk and high reward, I like it. You dont?

    I didn't see this,

So simple to understand. I wonder why the narrative is what it is? Could it be a strong dislike for all things BOB blinding him from the truth?

No, no they do not have all of their picks. They are literally missing their 1st round picks for two years.

I'm not even arguing the value of Tunsil vs the picks dude, I'm literally saying they are missing a lot of picks, they are. Comparing 4th and 6th round picks to 1st and 2nd round picks is wrong.

I'm not judging their past moves but stating the results of their past moves. I'm saying that they are missing picks and can't hope to fill needs with picks that teams usually fill needs with...like 1st and 2nd round picks...so yes, they have to bargain hunt and take fliers on players that maybe they normally wouldn't.
