    I guess better now than the middle or at the end of the regular season.

    I’m aware that he got his extension. My point was if he had this procedure over the summer, he still would have received his extension from the Rockets or in free agency next summer. Therefore, he didn’t need to wait to secure the bag first. It’s not a career-threatening knee injury.

    I also know that athletes do this often, and it’s annoying every time. It’s one thing if it’s a new injury, but this was soreness that had persisted since the middle of last season.

    Regular season in the NBA don't mean nuthin.

    Just be healthy and in a rhythm by May. Harden can carry G leaguers to the playoffs.

    Totally agree with this.

    I don't know why other posters are freaking out about him missing one month right at the beginning of the season. It's not important now. Much better now than late in season and playoffs.
