Yeah, our defense has been pretty decent this season, but I feel like mobile QBs can really make us look bad. I don't have high hopes for this game unless the offense just really explodes and does something special. Even then it will likely be a shoot out.
Everybody healthy all hands on deck. Contain their run game and go up early force them to play from behind.
After what the Eagles, Saints, Seahawks,and patriots have done to the Texans Defense in the past, I don't fear anyone except a friendly fire wide receiver pass. Texans win in a one way shootout, 35 to 13 BOLO
I like Lamar, I like the Ravens, but good god are they being wholefully overhyped right now. They’re hyping up a game against the worst team in football in years. The bungles are attempting to go 0-16 at this point. And the Pats defense is good, but they aren’t close to the historically good defense people claimed them to be(schedule). The Ravens have feasted on the bunglesX2, dolphins, and cardinals. Their most impressive win was at Seattle. They were dominated at home by freaking Cleveland. Again I like the ravens and Lamar but imo he’s fighting for 4th in the MVP race(Russ, CMC, Deshaun in that order), but being overhyped by the media. For all of BoB’s faults he’s been great off of bye weeks. Baltimore’s defense isn’t that intimidating, they have an elite OLine but ours has been great when healthy, and they can throw a lot of looks for you but the hype around the ravens has gotten crazy. This game will be a good one, but I don’t see us losing.
McGuire last played for the browns, he's a lock to be signed lol. I actually want Hill though. We've already had Hillard and Blue might as well have employed more players from 2012 LSU backfield
Going to be a good test to see how good the Texans are. And can learn from this game if they meet again in the playoffs.
After looking the slate of games this Sunday, I have zero clue how Nantz and Romo aren’t working this game. (Although I’m a Kevin Harlan man myself).
Make Lamar beat you with his arm. Play a lot of man and have Cunningham shadow Lamar. Key the run. We have the personnel for this. If we really want, we could go the Chargers route and play an extra safety or two. We have the personnel. We should be able to beat these guys. We can match up well with them. It's just a matter of whether we want to lay a typical Texans egg or not. I'm wary of laying an egg.
Actually, Lamar kills man to man with his legs. Atleast that’s what I seen vs the Patriots. Everytime they turned their heads, he took off. We are going to have to relay more on zone defense.
Addae should be able to help with that Chargers D strategy. I hope the boys are rested and ready to take advantage of the opportunity to really make a statement these next few weeks. Go Texans!!
