It depends on how Westbrook ages. If he falls off a cliff, kind of like CP did, then they may want to get rid of him early. But then it will probably be too late because nobody will want a declining player with a monster contract.
Easily the most damning aspect of Westbrook's play thus far. If he can't run the team to an even moderate degree of competence without Harden, he's pretty useless. I'm sure a lot of that is influenced by EG's play so far, but the point remains.
How many losses do we have this year without Westbrook? With Harden stinking up the joint? Analyzing the last couple games in terms of defensive rotations and effort level, how many people in here truly believe we can’t have a top 5-10 defense?
