I expect a Ty Lue or Sam Cassell type of hiring if MDA is let go

hopefully we never give sellout Kenny Smith an interview ever again

Nick Nurse won Championship or Two with the Rockets D League Vipers. And won a NBA Championship with the Raptors.

Daryl really screwed up, not giving him a assistant coach opportunity to him years ago. Against Golden State for years there was bad coaching in defensive breakdowns. Roy Rogers and many other coaches were so bad for years.

    He's fine.

I'd prefer a younger coach to grow here (sub 40s) than Sam although I appreciate that he deserves a chance. I just think if he was truly that great of a coach he would have had his chance by now considering he's been part of some major teams.

It would be perfect, if one of them was named Joe. Then we could finally settle the Joe v Pro argument. @ballgame

I've said it before. Nobody can understand anything Sam Cassell says. He'd make a terrible coach. Unless you get him a translator.

YES, because even if we 'only' go to WCF and don't win it ALL we know that ANY other coach could have taken us there.
Even one that has ZERO HC experience like Sam Cassell
ANYBODY is better than D'Antoni, am I right?

I mean, the man only has the 2nd best record in the NBA over the past 3 seasons.
That's not even 1st! ANY warm body can top that.

We should just hand over the reins to someone who has never been head coach.
After all, he's carried a clipboard for Doc Rivers for a few years, that's gotta count for SOMETHING.
    SMART idea. . . . . oh wait a minute. I'm having a flashback. .. JB. . . where have I heard those initials???

Oh well. Shouldn't waste James' remaining years 'only' going to 7 games with the best team of all time.
We should be smart and break in a rookie coach because his track record speaks for itself.
    Get on it Morey!

Wasn't Kenny Smith upset that he didnt get the Rockets coaching gig?

Would be hilarious if Sam does get it.

Wouldnt be the first time Kenny gets upstaged by Sam lulz...

Holic says you have to read the context. Tilman was talking about championship expectation a day before he said this,
