Assuming it's 4.4M for a single season, that's equivalent to getting ~8.8M/year in the NBA. He also won't need to try too hard to dominate, and will be treated as a superstar there.

Do remember how good the Faried/Capela line up was last year? Good times. We only saw it maybe 3 times before MDA said, "Too Big".
He is terrible on defense and really has shown no real desire to improve. Coaches can deal with bad defenders that play within a defensive system but Faried doesn't even do that.

It's just weird to me. He seemed to be all hustle and energy, especially in his early Denver days, and during his brief stint with us. Calm your t***. iirc, he seemed to be decent during his time for us, so I thought a team might have a use for him, or at least give him a short contract or something. Maybe he thought he was too good for undisclosed offers.
I would assume there are a lot of '**** holes' in the USA / Western Europe as well. Can't generalize based only on your own limited experience, imo.
