Would you trade Gordon for Ibaka

    I'm looking at his defensive stats and they are ridiculously consistent and ridiculously good.I dont know if we could offer both Pj , gordon picks/fillers and in return get ibaka and a wing defender. Or just Eg picks/ fillers for ibaka ,what's yall thoughts?

    First, Eric Gordon is criminally undervalued on this board. EG, despite his early season shooting woes, is probably the most important player outside of James, Russ and Clint. Spaces the floor and does an adequate defensive job when engaged. He’s spacing plays an even more important role when he’s on the floor with Russ.
    He will shoot himself out of this slump...

    Second, why would the Raps trade the expiring Ibaka?

    Because hes a bench player ,the small ball dont work ,and our defense is suffering and we losing games,I'm not saying gordon sucks wat I'm saying theres a bigger need on the frontcourt ,now think about when we play the clipps at the end of the game they will have both pg and kawaih, we will run out ,russ ,harden ,eg ? U want eg guardin pg or kawaih? If we get Ibaka we will have 2 elite scorers and 2 elite defenders ,one in the perimeter and one in the paint,we can run out russ ,harden ,PJ at the 3, ibaka and capela . Gordon wont help us at the end of games because hes 6-3. Hes a guard not foward. Also ibaka is a more versatile defender he can guard 3-5 ,were as gordon can only guard 1-2 .Russ and Harden by themselves on their best night can get you 100 points together.This team needs balance defensively.

    raptors will not pull that trade. more like gordon for a future 4 or 5th maybe 3rd somewhere in nba.

    No. As bad as he has been so far I know he was our best 3 point shooter last year. I can't forget how he was a big part of our winning offense the whole month leading up to the playoffs.

    People act like EG didn’t outplay Donovan Mitchell in a playoff series and only want to focus on his slow starts the past two seasons.

    It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

    Gordon can’t be traded during the 2019/20 season as a result of the extension, since it exceeds the extend-and-trade restrictions and makes him ineligible to be dealt for six months. That restriction won’t lift until after the 2020 deadline.

    Thus, do you regret posting this thread and wasting valuable server hard drive space?

    I’m so irritated that Gordon can’t be traded. What a stupid move by the Rockets.

    I’m also sick of Gordon taking a vacation for 70% of the year. This is 3rd year running he’s doing it. He was abysmal most of last season.
